The edit room is like the Land of OZ, when the right series of shots are combined with perfect timing ahh…magic happens. Like the great wizard granting hearts and brains the editor is king, well at least until Toto the producer shows up.

This workshop combines on-line prep with a two-day intensive workshop. Participants will get a hands-on Final Cut Pro experience and learn the essentials of how to: capture, edit, organize and effect video. We’ll move on to mark edit points and key frames; insert overlay and replace tracks; apply and refine edits, effects and filters; view the audio wave form channels; scale, rotate, and reposition elements; draw Bezier curves and redefine motion paths.

Includes on location farm style lunch.

This workshop is for filmmakers looking to edit their own productions on Final Cut Pro or those considering careers in film and video editing. Final Cut Pro is the software most used by independent filmmakers.
