Workshops - Documentary Shooting |
Documentary filmmakers are required to be part photographer, crew foreman, designer, accountant, secretary and most of all great storytellers. Here’s an opportunity to learn about documentary filmmaking while actually working on one. During this workshop we’ll work with the Troy’s Farmer’s Market, capturing footage of market patrons as they stroll and shop, venders as they prep and sell. We’ll explore possible storylines and ultimately we’ll travel to area farms and patrons homes to capture life style interviews and active b-roll footage. I’ll begin this project as a teacher but as we move forward I’ll be more participant and mentor. We’ll work with professional three-chip cameras professional sound gear and lighting techniques.
Who should take this workshop? This workshop is designed for those who have little or no hands on experience with digital video or creating reality programming. If you have a story to tell and fascinated with real life, people, places and things this is your workshop.
